Domestic car sales increased 7.6% in October to 79,403 units as against 73,772 units in October 2004.According to figures released by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM), motorcycle sales in the domestic market increased 28.8% to 6,23,434 units from 4,84,008 units in the same month last year.Commercial vehicle sales registered a growth of 18% at 31,663 units during the month as against 26,645 units in the same month last year.
