Dosa Plaza, the chain of cent vegetarian South Indian fast food restaurants from Prem Sagar Dosa Plaza Ltd, is planning to open 50 such restaurants in the next two years, including 10 restaurants overseas.
Dosa Plaza presently has 38 restaurants across the country, including 12 restaurants in Maharashtra- 7 in Mumbai, 2 in Pune city, 2 along Pune-Mumbai highway and one in Goa. The company has just opened its 39th franchise restaurant in Nashik.
The vegetarian snacks of Dosa Plaza include a wide variety of traditional and fusion dosas, idli, wada, sheera, upma and a variety of rice, to name a few. Dosa Plaza offers an extravagant array of 104 types of Dosas.
“We are planning to open 50 restaurants in the next 2 years. Around 40 Dosa Plaza restaurants will be opened in the country, while rest of the 10 restaurants will be opened overseas, including 2 each in New Zeland, Australia and Dubai, one each in Sharjah, Oman, Mauritius and London,” T Ganapathy, founder & CMD, Dosa Plaza, told Business Standard.
“Our prime focus will be in North India, where we will open around 25 Dosa Plaza restaurants. Our vision is to become the leading brand serving traditional south Indian cuisine worldwide with an oriental and western taste, delivering quality food, efficient service and value for money,” said Ganapathy.
