Dosa Plaza, the Mumbai-headquartered chain of restaurants serving an array of exotic dosas, is planning to open outlets in the US.T. Ganapathy, managing director of Prem Sagar Dosa Plaza, said yesterday that the company is planning to open Dosa Plaza outlets in New York, New Jersey and Virginia. "We are in the process of finalising the master franchisee for the US market, and the outlets will be ready within six months to one year," Ganapathy said.The company is also planning a Dosa Plaza in Dubai for which Trade Line LLC has been signed as the franchisee, he added.Ganapathy was in the city to open the city's first Dosa Plaza at Kalyani Nagar location. This is the 19th outlet of the company, he said, adding another 20 outlets will be opened across the country in the next two years.
