Eyeing a 250 per cent growth in turnover this year, super speciality homeopath Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic (DBPHC) today said it would open 18 new clinics this year, taking the total to 45. |
"We are aiming a turnover of about Rs 100 crore this year and for this we are in the process of opening new clinics at Indian 17 cities," DBPHC Managing Director Mukesh Batra said. |

The investment for the purpose without the real estate costs would amount to Rs 10 crore, he said, adding, the investments would be funded through internal accruals. It should be noted in this connection that DBPHC opened its latest clinic in the Capital today. |

We have set a target of attracting 1.5 lakh new patients this year. Last year, we had nearly 52,000 new patients visiting our clinics," Batra said, adding, the total number of patients targeted for this year is seven lakh. |

He said the clinic would also strengthen its staff strength to 960 from the current 327. "Moreover, we would also hire 100 new doctors to take their number to 300," he added. |

Batra said DBPHC has earmarked Rs 16 crore advertising budget for a more intensive brand awareness campaign. |

He said the Rs 630 crore Indian homeopathy market has been growing at about 20-25 per cent and has potential to grow even further. On the overseas expansion plans, he said DBPHC was not looking beyond the UK market at present. |

"This March end we had reopened our London clinic through alocal tie-up, in which we provide expertise and technical support," he said. |
