Dr Batra's opens its 3rd clinic in Hyd

Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic Pvt Ltd (DBPHCPL) opened its third clinic in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mukesh Batra, chairman and managing director of DBPHCPL, said that Hyderabad had seen a steady rise of respiratory ailments due to vehicular pollution and that the pollution level at 387 ug/m3 was far above the safe standard recommended by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) at 146ug/m3.

The clinic, opened at Khairatabad, was a super specialty homeopathy respiratory unit, said Batra.

He also launched the spirometer instrument for diagnosis and monitoring of chronic respiratory ailments on the occasion.

According to Batra, DBPHCPL plans to increase its presence to 17 cities and expand to 45 branches this year. At present, the company has a chain of 36 clinics spread across 15 cities in India. Recently, it opened a clinic in London.
