Dr.Reddy's, 7TM Pharma ink drug research pactBS Reporter / Mumbai March 10, 2008Dr.Reddy's Laboratories (DRL) has signed a drug discovery agreement with 7TM Pharma for treatment of metabolic disorders. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.Under the terms of the agreement, DRL and 7TM Pharma will collaborate to identify clinical candidates for pre-selected targets. Both the parties will jointly develop these candidates from the pre-clinical stage up to proof-of-concept stage (Phase IIa), according to a release issued by Dr.Reddy's to the BSE today.On completion of Phase IIa, the companies may either license-out the candidate for further development and commercialisation to a larger pharmaceutical company or continue further co-development and commercialisation .
