Promius Pharma LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited (DRL), has announced that its first dermatology product — EpiCeram Skin Barrier Emulsion — will be launched this week in Las Vegas.
The new product is intended for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, a skin disease that affects more than 15 million patients in the US.
The addressable market size for the product in the US is estimated at $400 million, the company stated.
