Dr Reddy's enters Dow Jones Indices

Company recognised for its corporate sustainability leadership, is sole pharma firm in index of emerging markets

Dr Reddy's Laboratories has been listed as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 2016 in the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and life sciences industry group.

“The company has been recognised for its corporate sustainability leadership and is the only pharmaceutical company on the index of emerging markets,” Dr Reddy's said in a BSE filing.

The listing was based on 22 criteria, with Dr Reddy's receiving high scores on product quality and recall management, environmental reporting, corporate citizenship and philanthropy, the company added.
