Dr Reddy's launches Redispar in India

Pharmaceutical firm Dr Reddy's Laboratories today said it has launched Redispar drugs used in the treatment of chronic kidney diseases in the country.

The company has launched Redispar (Doxercalciferol) in India, which is used in the treatment of problem caused by the chronic kidney disease, Dr Reddy's informed the stock exchanges.

According to the company, the drug (Redispar) is used to maintain calcium level in the human body. It is available in soft gelatin capsule form and in dosages of 0.5 mcg and 2.5mcg, it added.

A share of Dr Reddy’s closed at Rs 553.25, up 3.25 per cent on the National Stock Exchange.
