Dr Reddy's Laboratories today said it has launched three generic products in the US market.
The company has launched Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride extended release capsules and Letrozole tablets USP, in the US market, Dr Reddy's Laboratories said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets in the strengths of 5 mg and 10 mg are generic versions of Eisai R&D Management Co's Aricept tablets.
"According to IMS Health Aricept and generic Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets had a combined US sales of approximately $2.3 billion for the twelve months ended March 31, 2011," the company said.
Venlafaxine Hydrochloride extended release capsules in the strengths of 37.5 mg, 75 mg and 150 mg are generic versions of Effexor XR extended release capsules of Wyeth,LLC.
Effexor XR and generic Venlafaxine Hydrochloride extended release capsules had a total combined sales of $2.3 billion for the 12 months ended March 31, 2011 in the US market, Dr Reddy's said quoting IMS health.

Letrozole tablets USP are generic versions of Novartis Corporations Femara tablets which had brand sales of nearly $702 million in the US market for the twelve months ended March 31,2011, the company said quoting IMS health sources.
Shares of Dr Reddy's today closed at Rs 1,604.60 on the BSE, up 1.66% from previous close.
