Dragonair adds flight on Kolkata-Hong Kong route
The average passenger load from here to Hong Kong is 80 to 85%
BS Reporter Kolkata Hong Kong-based carrier Dragonair, a member of Cathay Pacific Group, has introduced an additional flight to the city from today, taking the total number of flights to six per week. "We are satisfied with the passenger load from Kolkata. The average passenger load from here to Hong Kong is 80 to 85 per cent. So we have decided to add another flight from today," Cathay Pacific and Dragonair GM (South Asia, Middle East and Africa) Charlie Stewart-Cox said, adding, Dargonair may start daily services within a year if the demand continues to grow.
The carrier is operating an Airbus A-320 aircraft from the city. Apart from Kolkata, the Cathay Pacific Group (Dragonair and Cathay Pacific) has operations from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. It has 48 passenger flight operations across the 6 cities.
