Pune-based DSK group is planning to set up a special economic zone (SEZ) at Nashik at an investment of Rs 4,000 crore. |
Speaking to Business Standard, D S Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK group, said, "We are planning to set up a SEZ at Nashik on 100 hectares with an investment of Rs 4,000 crore. We are in the process of identifying land for the purpose." He refused to divulge any other details. |

"The DSK group has registered 30 per cent growth in FY06-07, compared to the year-ago period. The turnover in FY06-07 was around Rs 1,200 crore. We have set a target of Rs 1,600 crore for the present financial year. We expect to touch Rs 10,000 crore in five years," Kulkarni said. |

"We are also planning to develop a housing project with 600 flats at Nashik. Nashik will definitely attract more investment in the next few years as it becomes the centre of attraction for real estate companies and industries. Development in Mumbai and Pune has reached saturation limits," Kulkarni said. |
