Ducati Motor Holding, world's leading producer of racing-inspired motorcycles, today announced its foray into the Indian market. Ducati has chosen Precision Motor India Private Ltd as its Indian partner. Over the next few months, a detailed launch strategy will be developed by the two entities for this new market.According to the agreement, Precision Motor India will be the exclusive importer of Ducati motorcycles in India. Precision Motor India also sells brands like Porsche, Audi, NetJets, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana in India.Speaking on the occasion, Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO, Ducati said "We strongly believe that the fast growing Indian market is of a strategic importance to Ducati and we will do our best to consolidate our presence and to capitalise on the huge opportunities this country has to offer."
