The controversy on Reliance Industries Ltd getting concessions for establishing agricultural hubs in the state, today got more fuel when state congress chief Shamsher Singh Dullo said he would also oppose any extra ordinary favours to the RIL by the state government.

"Congress will oppose any project, which will be against the interest of the state and any extra ordinary favours to Reliance Industries Limited will not be allowed" Dullo, who was here in the city to address the convention of the terrorism-affected families, told reporters.

However, Dullo didnot respond to further queries on the the RIL deal. He said, "Since no deal with the RIL has been finalised and even the same was not discussed in the Cabinet, how can I comment on the issue, which has not been finalised yet?"

"As far as state Congress is concerned, it will oppose any act of the state government, which is not in the interest of people of the state" he added.

Even the state government should make the deal with RIL public after getting approval from the Cabinet to put any controversy on the issue to rest, Dullo suggested.

On the on-going row between the Chief Minister and Central Working Committee (CWC) member and former MP Jagmeet Singh, who openly leveled allegations against the former for offering extra ordinary concessions to RIL, Dullo said that Jagmeet Brar's open criticism of state government was wrong and he had already recommended disciplinary action against him to CWC for hampering the image of the party by his outburst.
