Dunlop India on Thursday moved the division bench of the Calcutta high court seeking a stay on the single judge bench order that appointed a provisional liquidator in Dunlop for protecting company assets in relation to a case between Dunlop and Madura Coats.
The division bench of Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice Jaymalya Bagchi will hear the case on April 3. The court appointed liquidator, which visited the Sahagunj factory of the beleaguered tyre maker on Thursday, also expected to submit its initial assessment of company's assets on the same day. On March 26, Justice Sanjib Banerjee of the same court passed an interim order to appoint a provisional liquidator over Dunlop assets following an application from Madura Coats.
