Educomp signs Rs 109 cr deal with Karnataka govt

Educomp has signed a Rs 109 crore deal with Government of Karnataka to provide computer aided education in 1,571 schools in the state, the company today said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Educomp also signed a similar deal with Chattisgarh government to  provide computer aided education to 52 hostels spread across the state.

With this, the total schools in Edicomp’s ICT portfolio has gone up to 8912, covering 5.8 million students.
