Education solutions provider Educomp Solutions today said its consolidated net profit surged three fold to Rs 117 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, against same period previous fiscal.
Total revenue rose to Rs 253.51 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 132.15 crore in the same period corresponding year, Educomp said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 50.40 crore in the second quarter, against Rs 25.38 crore in the same period previous year.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 800.60 on the BSE today, down 1.69 per cent from its previous close.
