EIH has posted a 1.5% increase in net profit at Rs 20.78 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 21.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income has increased from Rs 160.48 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 197.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.EIH has posted a net profit 17% increase at Rs 33.12 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 28.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased from Rs 504.49 crore in FY-04 to Rs 625.25 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.As per the company's consolidated results, the net profit attributable to group is Rs 24.84 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to loss attributable to group of Rs 6.88 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased from Rs 536.91 crore in FY-04 to Rs 677.94 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.The company has recommended a payment of dividend on equity shares at Rs 4 (40%) for the year ended March 31, 2005.
