Elitecore-Redington eyes defence, government security

Elitecore Technologies, makers of Cyberoam, a Unified Threat Management solution for enterprises is looking to enter the defence and government segments.
 
The company has appointed Redington (India) as its National Distributor through which it plans to expand its reach to over 1200 partners.
 
Company estimates indicate show that it has a market of Rs 40-Rs 50 crores in these two segments alone. The company will also focus on education, banking and finance verticals this year.
 
Cyberoam has been deployed in leading educational institutions such as Indian Institute of Management (Lucknow), Delhi University, JNU, Symbiosis, Osmania University and 200 other colleges.
 
Cyberoam has enabled educational instituions to monitor offensive web content as per the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) law titled `Children¿s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
 
The tie up with Redington is expected to generate revenue of over Rs 36 Crore during the current financial year.
