Australian IT firm E matrix Net (EMN) today said it has signed a contract with MP State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) for setting up an IT park at Gwalior.
EMN has commenced a contract wherein it will be availing the opportunities of MPSEDC-owned IT Software Technology Park at Gwalior, EMN said in a statement.
However, no investment details were provided.
"EMN has plans of deploying more the 10,000 Local Madhya Pradesh IT resources (personnel) in the coming five years," EMN Chairman and Managing Director Vishal Chipkar said.
Chipkar said EMN has a global clientele and foresees a huge potential in the Indian IT sector.
"The company has a work order of $47.50 million for their current software project at Gwalior from various clients and will be currently hiring more than 2,500 resources by 2012," Chipkar said.
MPSEDC is the state agency working towards promotion and implementation of IT and e-Governance.
It is the single-point of access to IT business opportunities in the state and encourages players in the field of IT to invest in Madhya Pradesh.
