| Pig iron producer Tata Metaliks posted a net loss of Rs 1.12 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year compared with a net profit of Rs 7.2 crore in the year-ago period. |
| Company executives attributed the loss to the shutdown of the main blast furnace at Kharagpur in October. However, net sales for the quarter increased 59.71 per cent to Rs 147.9 crore. Total income increased 62.13 per cent to Rs 151.6 crore. |
