Eros International picks up worldwide rights of Rock On 2

Shraddha Kapoor is the new addition to the star cast of the original

Film studio and distribution company Eros International Media has tied up with Excel Entertainment for the worldwide release of Rock On 2. Written and directed by debutant film maker, Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 is the sequel to the 2008 rock musical drama Rock On.

While Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai will reprise their roles from the original film, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen joining the star cast. She'll be paried opposite Farhan Akhtar.

The film will be shot in Shillong, the rock capital of India.
