Media firm Eros International today reported a nearly three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 42.79 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 16.01 crore in the October-December quarter last fiscal, Eros International said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income of the company also grew to Rs 279.75 crore in the December quarter from Rs 149.78 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.
