ESPN and STAR Sports services to INCablenet have been discontinued due to outstandings. INCablenet subscribers in Mumbai will miss out on TVS Cup and Summer Sports Bonanza on ESPN and STAR Sports as Indus Ind Media and Communications Ltd (IMC), a subsidiary of Hinduja TMT, failed to pay routine monthly dues to ESPN Software, a press release issued today said.
ESPN Software was forced, the release said, to discontinue its signal for ESPN and STAR Sports to INCablenet as the outstanding crossed the Rs 2 crore mark for January-April, 2003. Hinduja officials were unable for comment on the issue.
