Essel Propack has posted a 9% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 19.60 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 18 crore in Q1FY04.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 191.10 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 152.60 crore in Q1FY04.The company, on a stand-alone basis, has posted a net profit of Rs 11.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 11.70 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2004. Total Income increased from Rs 57.80 crore in Q1FY04 to Rs 64 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2005.
