Etihad Airways launches EduFly for Indian students

It is a special programme for students flying from India

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has introduced Edufly, a special program tailor-made to the needs of students travelling from India to pursue their studies abroad.  
 
The program, which will run from June 1 to September 30 2014 to coincide with the start of the academic year, will be available for students travelling from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi to a number of Etihad Airways destinations across the US and Europe including Washington, New York, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Moscow and Athens.  
 
Under the EduFly program, students will receive an extra 10 kg baggage allowance when traveling to the UK and Europe, and one additional piece of luggage (weighing no more than 23 kgs) when travelling to the US.

The program will also offer a host of other exciting benefits from partners including Matrix International and Axis bank.  Matrix International will offer free 1 GB data for the first month for students in the UK, 50% discount on the first month of rental when purchasing a student connection in the US and Rs Rs 250 worth of free talk-time for students buying a Matrix global card in Russia. Meanwhile Axis Bank will offer preferential exchange rates and will waiver issuance fees on all Axis Bank Travel Currency Cards issued to students.
