Eureka Forbes sets Rs 550cr target

Eureka Forbes is targeting a Rs 550 crore turnover on sales of water purification systems during this fiscal, as against Rs 475 crore achieved last year.

The company launched its new product 'Aquaguard Total Gold Nova' in the Vizag market recently. This new product, developed with nano technology, helps in removal of dangerous pesticides in the water, said AV Suresh, president (direct sales), Eureka Forbes.

The organised water purifier market in the country is about Rs 600 crore, of which Eureka Forbes share is about 70 per cent.

"Currently we are exporting our water purifiers to several Asian countries, and would enter the European market during the next fiscal," he said.
