Sweden-based Exini Diagnostics AB, which develops diagnostic software, plans to set up a research and development centre in Hyderabad. The focus will be on imaging analysis, said company’s founder Lars Edenbrandi.
Announcing its tie up with city-based Sainath Medical Systems Private Limited for exclusive distribution of its imaging products, Lars said the company would look at mathematical talents in the city to write algorithms for the programs.
Exini currently has imaging software for heart, dementia, Alzheimer’s and for bone-related disorders. The software for diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease will be available in two months, he said.
In Hyderabad, Exini has installed its products at Apollo Hospitals, Care, Vijaya Diagnostics, Indo-American Cancer Institute and MNJ Cancer Institute.
Sainath Medical CEO Prabhu Podipireddy said the company would distribute the products in India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia among others.
