Indian travellers could get access to airfares of over 70 global airlines now with a leading online travel firm, Expedia, launching its booking services in the country.
Expedia.Co.In India, which is the Indian subsidiary of Expedia Inc, also offers wide choice of holiday and business packages as well as hotel bookings having over 80,000 hotels on its list, the company release said.
With the launch of its flight booking service here, the Indian traveller would now be able to book their entire trip — from flight tickets and hotels to tourist packages and other activities— from a single place.
The travellers would also be able to view the actual prices of air tickets, including taxes and surcharges, making travel planning easier with no hidden charges, it said.
"We believe we will be able to satisfy the ever growing outbound market with our global product range, competitive prices and in-depth travel and destination information," Expedia Asia-Pacific MD Arthur Hoffman said in the release.
