Expressway safety: Auto body to submit report to Maha govt

The Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) will submit a report recommending safety measures to be taken on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and the Mumbai-Goa highway to the Maharashtra government, a top association official said here on Friday. "We will submit a report recommending measures that should be taken to avoid accidents on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and the Mumbai-Goa highway that have witnessed a spate of incidents in the recent past," WAII chairman Nitin Dossa told reporters. He also said the report would be submitted by February 7 to the state government.
