Fem Care Pharma eyes Rs100 cr topline in '07-'08

The Nashik-based Fem Care Pharma Ltd (FCPL) has registered a 15.29 per cent growth in its sales turnover to Rs 81.13 crore during fiscal 2006-07. The company has set a sales turnover target of Rs 100 crore for the present fiscal.
 
The company operates in FMCG, pharmaceutical and chemical sector. The company manufactures and markets personal care products, fabric care products, pharmaceutical formulations and chemical intermediates. The company has manufacturing facilities at Nashik and at Manakpur (Himachal Pradesh).
 
The company has achieved consolidated sales turnover of Rs 81.13 crore during FY 2006-07, against Rs 70.37 crore during the previous year (FY 2005-06).
 
By June-end during the present fiscal, the company has recorded a consolidated sales turnover of Rs 31.01 crore, against Rs 24.46 crore during the same period previous fiscal year (2005-06).
 
The company has earned a profit after tax of Rs 12.53 crore during FY 2006-07, against Rs 5.70 crore during FY 2005-06.
 
"Speaking to Business Standard, Sunil H Pophale, chairman & managing director, Fem Care Pharma said, "We have set a sales target of Rs 100 crore for fiscal 2007-08. We are also focussing on increasing exports and eyeing a 30 per cent growth in exports during the present fiscal year."
 
In export, the company has registered a 44 per cent rise to Rs 2.97 crore during FY 2006-07, against Rs 2.06 crore during FY 2005-06.
 
Presently, the company is exporting to Yemen, Mauritius, Maldives, Malaysia, UAE, Oman, South Africa, Italy, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
 
The company is also planning exports to Thailand, Phillippines, Jordan and Latin American countries.
 
They have also identified distributors in Kazakhstan and Pakistan, and will soon start exporting there.
