The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers to the tune of Rs 107.80 crore in the futures & option segment on Wednesday.According to data released on the NSE, FIIs were net sellers of index futures worth Rs 144.66 crore. They sold stock futures to the tune of Rs 98.81 crore and stocks options of Rs 5.55 crore. On the other hand they were net buyers of index options worth Rs 141.22 crore.As per data available on the Sebi website - FIIs were net sellers of stocks worth Rs 273.90 crore in the cash market on Tuesday. Domestic mutual funds (MFs), however, bought shares worth Rs 92.96 crore on Tuesday.
