Flipkart launches PayZippy's customer-facing product

E-commerce major Flipkart today announced the launch of PayZippy's customer-facing product for online consumers.

Flipkart Payment Gateway Services(FPGS) Pvt Ltd has launched the customer-facing end of PayZippy (www.Payzippy.Com), the company said in a release.

This service lets customers enjoy a faster, smoother and safer online payment experience across a range of merchants, it added.

Earlier this year, Flipkart launched its own payment gateway PayZippy, under a separate firm Flipkart Payment Gateway Services (FPGS) Pvt Ltd, and started with payment solutions to merchants.

"With PayZippy we have actually reduced the time taken for making online payments by 50%. We are expecting at least 1,50,000 customers to sign up for this service within the first month and our target is to get 1 million customers by next June," Flipkart.Com Head- Payments and Digital Media, Mekin Maheswari said.
