Helpchat, a chat-based personal assistant app, has appointed Deena Jacob as its new chief financial officer. Jacob was the former CFO of TaxiForSure, an app-based cab aggregator service acquired by Ola in March.
Helpchat, formerly Akosha, helps users get things done from getting comparisons of smartphones in a particular price range to travel booking and holiday guidance. Helpchat has a strength of more than 600 people.

Her experience at TFS, especially running a multi-city 80 people finance team, would come in handy for Helpchat," said Ankur Singla, founder and chief executive officer of Helpchat.

Helpchat has a strength of more than 600 people and has presence in Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai. It had raised Rs 100 crore from Sequoia Capital in May 2015.
