Fortis Healthcare today reported a net los of Rs 97.39 crore in FY07 as against a net loss of Rs 52.81 crore in the previous fiscal on account of the incremental interest cost and goodwill amortisation cost due to the full year impact of the acquisition of Escorts Heart institute and Research Centre.The company reported a 77% increase in consolidated total income at Rs 525.40 crore as against Rs 297.08 crore in FY06.Shivinder M Singh, managing director, Fortis Healthcare said: "We would continue to be in a high growth phase over the next few years driven by improving efficiencies in existing hospitals and aggressive expansion plans through building, managing and acquiring hospitals.
