Hospital Chain Fortis Healthcare today said it will set up a separate block for the treatment of cancer in its Noida Hospital with an estimated investment of Rs 30 crore.
"Fortis Noida is constructing a separate block for Oncology covering an area of 30,000 sq ft. This block is expected to be operational in third quarter of fiscal 2010," Fortis Healthcare Managing Director Shivinder Mohan Singh told reporters here.
When asked about the investments, Singh said, the company would spend around Rs 30 crore in setting up the separate block for the cancer, after which the hospital would attain the status of complete care centre for treatment of cancer.
Fortis Hospital Noida today announced the opening up of 'Fortis International Oncology Centre'.
The hospital has entered into an exclusive tie-up with International Oncology Services (IOPL), an America-based cancer care and research services company, to bring quality oncology services in the hospital.
