Pantaloon, has tied up with Resil Chemicals, to use sensory perception technology (SPT) on a limited edition of shirts. With this, Pantaloon becomes the second customer after Wills Lifestyle to sign up for SPT.

Sanjeev Agarwal, Head - Marketing, Pantaloon Retail (India) , said, "The SPT range of shirts will be available under Pantaloons' smart casual label " Bare Leisure. We plan to introduce more ranges based on customer response." Wills Lifestyle has introduced women's tops using this technology.

The SPT technology, a Woolmark concept is used to treat apparels with Aloe Vera, a moisturising agent.

It is based on trapping fragrances / essences or products like insect repellant, cosmetics or medicinal products into millions of microscopic capsules and then sticking these capsules to textile fibres during the last wet finish stage.
