Gail India has posted a 43% increase in net profit at Rs 483.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 338.93 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal. According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income (including internal consumption) increased to Rs 3674.14 crore for the current quarter from Rs 3174.18 crore in Q1FY05 .
