Gail India has signed a gas co-operation agreement with State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttaranchal (SIDCUL) to examine various natural gas project opportunities in the state, and the development and extension of the national gas grid to the state.According to a release issued by Gail India to the BSE today, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by U D Choubey, director (marketing) of Gail India and Alok Kumar, MD of SIDCUL, on November 7, 2005."The gas co-operation agreement will assess the demand for natural gas and allied products in the state along with examining the possibility for utilisation of the company's telecom infrastructure for connectivity across industrial conglomerates," the release added.
