Gail India has signed an annual memorandum of understanding (MoU) for performance targets for FY 2005-06. According to a release issued by Gail to the BSE, the MoU was signed by S C Tripathi, secretary, ministry of petroleum and natural gas and Proshanto Banerjee, chairman and managing director of the company. The company, for the year 2005-06, has targeted transmission of 75.10 metric million standard cubic metre per day (MMSCMD) of natural gas including 16.22 MMSCMD of regasified LNG. The MoU has also set a production target of 3,10,000 million tonne (MT) of polymers (HDPE and LLDPE) and about one million MT of LPG, the release said.The release added that the company's performance will be assessed through project implementation, gas sourcing, customer focus, safety and enterprise-efficiency.
