Gamesa bags 130 MW solar project order from Atria Power

The solar project is the biggest order since Gamesa's entry into Indian Solar market in 2015

Gamesa, a renewable energy company, bagged a new 130 Mega Watt (MW) solar project order from Atria Power. The projects will likely to be commissioned in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in March 2017. The solar project is the biggest order since Gamesa’s entry into Indian Solar market in 2015. 

The firm will handle the complete value chain of design & engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and O&M of the project with the supply of 96 units of Gamesa E-1.37MW hybrid cooled solar inverter.

Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director, Gamesa India in a release said, “we continue to focus on providing technology that can help our partners produce clean energy.  I am positive that these projects will further cement our relationship with our existing base of loyal customers.”

KV Sajay Executive Vice President, Solar Business Unit, Gamesa India added there is huge demand for solar EPC & technology solutions in the country and the company is looking forward to meeting this demand with its solar EPC services and Hybrid cooled central inverters.
