Engineering and construction firm Gammon India today said its Italy based-unit -- SAE Powerlines -- has bagged a power transmission project worth $31 million (around Rs 144.6 crore) in Tanzania.
"The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, SAE Powerlines Srl, Italy, has been awarded a power transmission project aggregating to $31 million in Tanzania," Gammon India said in a filing to the BSE.
Shares of Gammon India were trading at Rs 240 on BSE, up 0.59 per cent from its previous close.
