Aegis Limited, an outsourcing services company and part of the $27 billion. Essar Group, has announced that it was one of the top 10 business process outsourcing providers to be included in Gartner Inc’s 2012 Competitive Landscape: The Rise of Indigenous BPO Providers in Asia Pacific.
According to Gartner, this 2012 report identifies key market leaders for a diverse range of horizontal, multi-domain BPO services in Asia/Pacific and provides profiles of the players in Asia/Pacific. The top 10 BPO providers in Asia/Pacific had combined revenue of over $2.8 billion in 2011, and leading four of these providers including Aegis had revenues of more than $400 million each in 2011.
According to Gartner estimate Aegis’ Asia Pacific BPO market share for 2011 was 7.1 per cent. The company offers multi-channel Customer Lifecycle Management, F&A, HR and Procurement outsourcing solutions through its experience centres across India, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
