Though revenues for the quarter increased 5.37 per cent to Rs 146.61 crore from Rs 139.13 crore last year, expenditure was up 7.42 per cent from Rs 128.65 crore to Rs 138.20 crore during the period due to increase in operating expenses, employee, administrative and repairs and maintenance costs and depreciation. Earnings per share (basic) declined to Rs 0.47 for the quarter as compared to Rs 0.96 during the same period last year.
Gati managing director and chief executive officer Mahendra Agarwal stated in a press release that infrastructure, manpower and business processes were in place to present a healthy turnover in the next quarter.
