Gayatri Projects bags order worth Rs 113 cr

Gayatri Projects Ltd (GPL), a city-based infrastructure company, today said that it has secured two orders worth Rs 113 crore from Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co Ltd (MPPKVVCL).

The company in a statement said the orders, are for electrical supply and erection on turn-key basis at Indore, and valued at Rs 63.01 crore and Rs 50.11 crore, respectively.

The work involves supply and erection of new 11 KV line, conversion of LT lines into HT and meterisation of unmetered consumers in Indore under MPPKVVCL. The contract is to be completed in 18 months from the date of commencement.

On the order, Sandeep Reddy, Managing Director, Gayatri Projects Ltd said the order from MPPKVVCL validates the company's competency in the infrastructure sector.

"Gayatri Projects Ltd is extremely pleased to share its responsibility in developing the state's infrastructure and the company has requisite manpower and technical know-how to complete the project in the specified time-frame," Reddy said.

The scrip of Gayatri closed at Rs 315.95 today at the Bombay Stock Exchange down 1.65 per cent over previous close.
