Great Eastern Shipping Company has reported a 285 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 93.11 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2003, from Rs 24.18 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's income from operations grew to Rs 266.44 crore (Rs 256.01 crore). The company posted a net profit of Rs 227.29 crore for the financial year ended March 2003 as compared to Rs 197.19 crore in 2001-02.
