GE Shipping takes delivery of tankers

Following inclusion of "Jag Pranav", the company's fleet size stands at 30 vessels, comprising 22 tankers and eight dry bulk carriers

The Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd has taken delivery of a 2005-built medium range product tanker called “Jag Pranav,”  the company said in a release.

Following inclusion of “Jag Pranav”, the company’s fleet size stands at 30 vessels, comprising 22 tankers and eight dry bulk carriers, it said.

The vessels have an average of 9 years aggregating 2.42 mln DWT (deadweight tonnage), said GE Shipping. Of the 22 tankers GE Shipping has, eight are crude carriers, 13 are product tankers and one is a liquified petroleum gas.

The company’s eight dry bulk carriers include one Capesize, three Kamasarmaz and four Supramax vessels.

GE Shipping’s current order book is of four vessels comprising two new building Kamsarmax dry bulk carriers, one new building medium range product tanker and one second hand 1994 built Very Large Gas Carrier, the company said.
