Genpact, a global provider of business and technology services, has acquired ICE Enterprise Solutions, a European SAP service provider established in 1996. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. |
ICE Enterprise is a SAP services partner, utilities partner and BW/SEM partner in the Netherlands and a SAP partner and StreamServe partner in Spain. It specialises in serving large European multinationals in the manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, insurance and financial services industries. |

Genpact operates a wide range of business processes from its global delivery platform for clients around the world. The clientele includes GE, Nissan, Wachovia, Kimberly-Clark, Genworth, Air Canada, Penske, Linde Group and more than two-dozen other global enterprises in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. |

Genpact had its ERP, application and IT professionals based in India, China, the UK and the US, and was also one of the world's largest providers of Oracle e-business suite solutions, he said. "To be competitive, global enterprises need providers who can partner with them on the whole spectrum of business and technology services," said Bhasin. "The business impact comes by applying Lean Six Sigma process rigour across the board." |

Genpact, created by GE, became a separate company in early 2005. The company has grown its workforce to over 27,000 people over the past two years. Its services are delivered from 24 operations centres in seven countries, plus Holland and Spain with the acquisition of ICE. Genpact applies quality methods to all its ERP implementations and has more than 2,000 Six Sigma-trained Green Belts and 500 Black Belts and Master Black Belts. |
