Reliance Capital said this evening that Sandeep Phanasgaonkar was joining the company as president and chief technology officer. "He will be responsible for information technology and systems for all financial businesses under Reliance Capital, including Mutual Funds, Life and General Insurance, Stock Broking, Consumer Finance, etc," the companys aid in a release.Phanasgaonkar was earlier with Genpact (formerly GE Capital International Services) as its Global Chief Information Officer. Phanasgaonkar began his career with the State Bank of India and has worked with Tata Infotech, iFLEX Solutions and Deutsche Bank.
