Georg Kniese to head SAP Labs IndiaBS Reporter / Bangalore August 28, 2006SAP Labs has announced the appointment of Georg Kniese as the managing director of its Indian operations. Kniese, who had been working with SAP Labs India as a joint managing director along with Martin Prinz, took over his new charge with effect from August 1, 2006, the company said in a release.SAP Labs employs 2,700 professionals at its Bangalore campus and is looking at touching the 3,000 mark pretty soon. SAP also recently has announced a $1 billion expansion plan in India. In the new capacity, he will be responsible for SAP Labs' India offices in Bangalore, Gurgaon and Chandigarh. Kniese joined SAP
